Every now and again a thread will pop up on GLP and will be instantly pinned by certain admins.
The most recent one was pinned was about a member who's rental home had caught fire and burnt everything to the ground. yet the woman spent time on the forum and posting pictures of her family, rather thans trying to find a new place to live for the time being.
Someone created a thread asking for donations for her, and it gathered over 20 or so pages.
she then created a thread personally thanking people for donations. Why would you still be posting on a forum?. wouldn't you be worried about sorthing things out rather than asking for donations?.
People were disagreeing with her thread saying it was fake etc, she'd delete the threads
that were against her, and only kept the positive threads. Something fishy eh.
I don't mind donating to people, but I'd rather know that my donation is going to someone to actually help them, homeless/hospitals etc. Not some random fake story posted on a conspiracy website.
Oh and I got IP banned as well for disagreeing with her thread LOL.
